I also agree and when promoting the service I'm always sure to mention privacy first.

I like the idea of using a highlighter to point out the privacy agreement on the paperwork.  Thanks!

Yes, I totally agree.  I highlight the service agreement so the customer feels very comfortable that noone will have their personal info.

I've found that privacy is a very important point to this business.

People want to know that their personal information will remain private.  I never store any of the clients medical information at my home office.  Once I'm done completing the electronic form and have the MEDAlert setup, I delete it and shred any paper forms provided.  Of course, I wait a short time to confirm that the client is happy and everything is entered correctly.

I reassure the client that they are the only one to have their information stored on the actual MEDAlert.
