Hi,

Not really, the MED Alert name and logo are recognized nationally so people know what it is.  Also, each one has a neat electronic form which is unique to the MED Alert and lets you put in all the information fast.

I also think the price is very fair and like that I can order small or large quantities.

Hi,

You need to purchase the business startup kit in order for the company to then sell you the MEDAlert devices for $9.95.  Its a great startup kit with tons of useful information and marketing materials and well worth the price.

You make back your initial investment very quickly once you get going.

Why do you need the start up kit, not that I have the exprtise but couldn't many people do this without start up abd paying 9.95.

Hi,  Yes you buy the Medalerts for 9.95 each then you can sell them a number of ways.  Just sell so the customer can enter on their own, sell where you load the info on the device after they complete a form or as a subscription.  In the case of the subscription you enter and setup the Medalert initially then do updates during the year.  You would just give them a return mailer and blank form to note changes, then send a reminder postcard or email a few times a year.

I don't sell it as a do it your self product, I either load up the info one time or do it as a subscription for customers.   Hopefully this is now clear :)

I'm confused by pricing plan. I pay $ 9.95 for  it. Then charged the customer $ 129.00 or less. Who sets op the system. Where is the company making there moneyjust on Med-Alert. What happens at end of year. Told you I'm confused

I was wondering how your business is going? I'm thinking about starting soon. Where and how are you marketing this product, and how has your experience been. Is it tough to get started? Ant advice would be most welcome. Thank you

Hi Paul,
I mostly sell a service plan with the updates however some people just want to buy the MEDAlert with the initial update with their information.  I'm not seeing any problems with competitors in my area.

Good luck as you start your new business.

smile Hi Julie,
I'm Paul from Auburn,Maine. I'm planning on coming on board. My question to you is, what do you sell the most, the basic plan (don't know the cost} or the updated service plan?
I believe there are 3 competitors out there. Does that have an impac?
Thank
Paul
