I'm in Southern, California and have been selling MEDAlert for about a couple of years. I sell it for $70 to set it up at the beginning and $20 for each update or the annual option for $110 which has updates included (5 max).
hey everybody, I just setup a lucrative relationship with some travel agencies. They may not be your first thought but don't forget about them. It can be offered to anyone booking travel so they have all their information in case they get sick while away.
In my area I focus on chiropractor offices and physical therapy offices since we have a lot of retired people. People who go to a chiropractor often have other issues and are drawn to the Medalert. I sell a ton of them by putting out brochures in the chiro and other offices then refer people to them as well, it works out great.
Thanks for the info. Do you get price objections from many people. I see Walgreens sells a usb type devide for about $10. Why would a customer want to buy the Med Alert USB?
Have you had any issues with emt's or hospitals not taking the device for fear of viruses?
I'm finding that this business is very straight forward... it is all about exposure. The more brochures I place the more sales I get, its basic marketing that works. I buy basic cardboard brochure holders online cheap, fill them with the brochure from the it and put them in as many businesses as possible from medical offices to hair salons, it really doesn't matter but I do find that those businesses with a waiting room work well because people have time to read the brochure. I get large numbers of brochures printed online and use either www.docucopies.com or www.printplace.com I put a sticker inside the cardboard brochure holder with my phone number and email so they can contact me when they run out or I stop in to check for those close to home.
I started seeing results within a couple weeks after putting brochures in about 20 business locations. The kit is very good for a beginner and explains it well.
Is there anyone out there that can answer questions on the business pro's and con's. Success/failures/regrets, etc? Also, of done full time how soon should one expect to see results? Does the business material answer most objections? I'm sure I have other questions but I'll start with those.
Thanks
Pete
